A post office is located nearby. There are several banks within a kilometer radius from the institute. Bank og India operates their special counters during Semester Registration, Fee Deposition process and for any need of the Institute within the Institute premises. There is a good canteen in the Institute.

There are numerous terminals and a computer laboratory operating within the Institute and all the computers are connected through LAN. The campus is enabled with Wi-Fi facility at any place.

PICT has a tropical wet and dry climate with average temperatures between 20 °C to 28 °C (68 °F to 82 °F). During summer, the maximum temperatures range from 30 °C to 38 °C (86 °F to 100 °F). The city almost receives heavy thundershower in May (and humidity remains high). Even during the hottest months, the nights are usually cool due to Pune's high altitude.

The monsoon lasts with moderate rainfall and temperatures range from 22 °C to 28 °C (72 °F to 82 °F). Winter begins in November. November in particular is referred to as the Rosy Cold (literal translation). The daytime temperatures hover around 28 °C (82 °F) while night temperature is below 10 °C (50 °F) for most of December and January, often dropping to 5 °C to 6 °C (41 °F to 43 °F).

There are three departments in PICT, namely Department of Computer Engineering, Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and Department of Information Technology.

Presently, all the three departments are offering M.E. programmes at PICT, admissions are based on GATE Examination.

Each classroom is well equipped with LCD, white screen, whiteboard and audio-visual facilities.

Yes, textbooks and reference books for B.E. and M.E. students and research scholars are in sufficient numbers and the Central Library has quite good reference section where E-Books are also available. Digital Library facility is available as well. PICT has subscriptions of online journals for each department.

Yes, PICT has a Computer Center with internet faclity of 8 mbps, open from 8 AM to 8 PM.

Well furnished hostel faciilities for girls and boys are available. There are many hostels near the institute campus building as well.

The provision of canteen and mess in the campus, run by caterer. Food services have been outsourced for the boys hostel mess and the girls hostel. The institute ensures that healthy food is provided as a reasonable rate.

Yes, the institute has appointed faculty members to mentor the students in a group.

Yes, cultural programmes are conducted at the institute premises. Experts are also invited for spiritual programme. In addition to this, the students participate in various Cultural Fests and also organize an annual fest called as "Addiction" in the month of February. Students organize programme for Teacher's Day, Fresher's Day, etc.

Grounds are available for volleyball and basketball. Table tennis is also available. A modern multi-purpose gym is also functioning near the hostel premises.

Top cadre security staff has been outsourced. Securities are engaged for 24 hours to both the institute campus and student hostels.
